This year’s Festival for the Eno takes place Friday July 4 and Saturday July 5 at West Point on the Eno in Durham. Put on as a benefit for the Eno River Association, the annual music & crafts event runs from 10 am to 6 pm each day. Music will be played continuously by over 60 acts on 4 stages. Juried crafts exhibits are open to residents of the Carolinas, Virginia, Georgia and Tennessee, and all items must be the handiwork of the participant, who must be present. Festival proceeds are used “to protect the natural resources of the Eno River and its Watershed for future generations.”
Food & drink are available on site. The Sweetwater Beer Garden is open from 11am to 5pm at the McCown Mangum house, with a variety of cold craft brews on tap. Festival goers are encouraged to use the free parking at Durham County Stadium and ride a free, air-conditioned shuttle bus to the gate.
Discounted advance tickets are available online through June 29 and at local advance ticket outlets through June 28.
