Dickey Betts 1996
Guitarist Dickey Betts, founding member of The Allman Brothers Band, celebrates his 70th birthday today. Acknowledged as one of rock’s greatest, Betts continues to play with his band Great Southern, whose 2013 tour included a show at Durham’s Carolina Theatre.
